Svenja Tasler, a Breathwork coach and trainer, aims to foster self-awareness and strengthen connections within people and their communities. Her brand needed to evolve to reflect this focus and shine its authenticity. Together, we reimagined Svenja's brand into a cohesive, vibrant, and outspoken identity that resonates deeply with her audience. By unifying her brand's collateral and revamping her website into a sleek, user-friendly Webflow site, we created an authentic brand experience. Svenja's brand now communicates with clarity and purpose, reaching new audiences, enhancing SEO rankings, and deeply connecting with clients, embodying the empowering spirit of breathwork.
It All Begins with a Deep Breath
Svenja’s journey began in 2015 after separating from her long-term partner, leading her to focus on personal development and spirituality. Since then, topics around mindfulness, holistic health, and embodied femininity have increasingly become a part of her life. In 2018, she moved to Brighton and discovered breathwork, a practice that resonated so profoundly with her that she decided to dedicate her life to it.
Her mission was clear from the beginning: to empower individuals through breathwork, fostering self-awareness, and strengthening connections within themselves and their communities. Whether it's free or paid online courses, 1:1 and group sessions, or a comprehensive 12-month training for aspiring Breathwork Coaches, Svenja's offerings are diverse, and her passion for breathwork is palpable in everything she does.
A call for transformation
However, no epic journey is without its challenges. As her business was growing, Svenja faced hurdles that required a sprinkle of magic and a fresh perspective. Initially, breathwork was a novel concept in the German market. But within three short years, the landscape became fiercely competitive. Her original, self-made website, which once focused on "femininity," no longer aligned with her evolved approach centered on breathwork. She needed a cohesive and recognizable brand to effectively communicate her new vision and connect with her audience.
Our paths crossed in May 2023 during a 'Workation' in Tenerife, where we spent twenty days in a beautiful house, working and bonding over our shared interests. At the time, Svenja was already in the process of rebranding with another designer and sought my help for her new website. However, when the initial rebranding project didn't meet her expectations, we decided to tackle the whole project together—new branding, new collaterals, and a new website!
Finding the perfect balance
Svenja's goals were ambitious: create a standout brand in a crowded market, attract more clients for her training course, ensure consistent brand identity across all platforms, and capture the essence of her personality and work. Easy peasy, right? Well… not quite. But an exciting challenge for sure!
We began with a deep dive into Svenja's business and personality, blending her unique traits and values to attract like-minded clients. This involved thorough research on competitors, audience, and current brand perception, followed by brand workshops and exercises to clarify her vision. With these insights, we crafted a comprehensive Brand Strategy Document, outlining her positioning and communication strategies.
Then came the fun part – the visuals! We created three Stylescapes to establish the visual direction, from which Svenja chose her favorite. This set the stage for designing the logo, typography, color palette, and visual resources, all aimed at evoking connection, self-discovery, and community. We developed a diverse range of brand collaterals and restructured her website, switching to Webflow for better development options. Throughout the process, Svenja's feedback was invaluable, ensuring every element felt authentically hers.
A Breath of Fresh Air
The result? We brought order to chaos with a clear and cohesive strategy document, capturing the heart and soul of Svenja's brand.
We defined a brand personality that emphasizes her trauma-sensitive approach and its social consciousness, standing out as welcoming and diverse with bold political views and values.
Visually, we designed an appealing and organic logo, defined a vibrant yet calming color palette, and incorporated water-inspired backgrounds symbolizing connection and the flow of emotions. The imagery emphasizes diversity and inclusivity, resonating with her target audience and making breathwork accessible to everyone.
Additionally, we created a range of collaterals, from social media templates to physical notebooks, all sharing the same look and feel, unifying the brand.
As a last piece, we developed a new user-friendly website, optimized for performance, which reflects Svenja’s evolved brand.
A Breathtaking Impact
The impact was immediate and exciting. Within the first month of the relaunch, Svenja received an inquiry from a person in her new target audience, marking a significant achievement. Her SEO data improved, with the average Google ranking position rising from 11.3 to 9.9 and the average click-through rate (CTR) increasing by 2%.
Our collaboration transformed Svenja’s brand into a vibrant, cohesive, and powerful representation of her mission and values. Her brand now stands out with bold authenticity, connects deeply with her audience, and accurately reflects her unique personality and approach to breathwork.
